We would and have already recommended Steve and NW Home Renovation to others. In fact, we're hoping to hire him again in a few years to do another large project! Steve was professional, communicative and we are very happy with our new kitchen. You hear so many horror stories about contractors that don't communicate, come in way over budget and pull disappearing acts and we did not experience any of that. We love the way our kitchen looks and they did an excellent job of providing excellent craftsmanship that leaves the new kitchen looking period appropriate. The crew was professional and polite and conscientious of cleaning up as we were living in the house while they worked. We are delighted with our new kitchen and would encourage others to hire Steve and NW Home Renovation.

Northwest Home Renovation did a fabulous job from start to finish on our kitchen remodel! Steve responded quickly to our first phone call asking for a quote and throughout the job he returned calls in a timely fashion. He gave us great advice as to where we could go to see different finishes for our project. He and his crew were always on time and cleaned up daily. I love my new kitchen! Thank you Northwest Home Renovation. A very professional company that I highly recommend.

Steve and his crew did a complete overhaul and redesign on our deck stairway and transformed a very large crawl space on the terrace level into two very useful rooms with an exterior door. We had our own ideas for the man cave and the gardening room, but after bouncing ideas around with Steve and his crew we came up with an even better plan. The crew was very considerate every step of the way. Everything that Steve said he would do, he did. He answered his phone and returned emails very quickly. We are thrilled with our new stairway and two additional rooms. Oops, almost forgot he finished out our wine room too! We highly recommend Northwest Home Renovations! If we could give them six stars we would. It is so nice to find an honest and trustworthy Contractor.

I hired NW Hone Renovation to remodel iur living room, kitchen, dining room and family room. This included vaulting the entire house, installing exposed wood beams, and removing walls in order to create an open floor plan. I was so happy with Steve and Ton!s team. Steve was superb at keeping us informed every step of the way. He was patient and flexible when we made changes. His crew was friendly and helpful and hard working (we were living in the back of the house so we knew what a great crew he had). They were as committed to a great finished product as we were and it showed in thei quality of their work. Jessy and Tom were true craftsmen in their finish work. The place exceeded our expectations by a mile. These are the best contractors you will find. Honest, kind, hard working, patient, professional and did great work! I love coming home to this place every day thanks to them. Highly recommend!

Beaverton Kitchen Remodel | Nov 2015 | The owner of this home was looking for a new look. She happens to be an incredible artist and knew exactly what she was looking for, "an open beach theme". This was accomplished by removing half of the wall between the kitchen, dining room and living room and creating a breakfast bar with 3 new cabinets and an oak divider beside the refrigerator. Another small wall was removed between the kitchen and dining area as well. The wall paper was removed, the sunken living room was raised/carpeted and all of the popcorn texture was removed from the ceiling. Then the entire ceiling was retextured to eliminate the room separations caused by the three different textures. The look she was going for was clouds above the beach. The large windows in the living room were cased in as well as the window above the kitchen sink to tie them into the oak in the kitchen. Then the new counter tops went in. These are made of Ice Stone which is a mixture of recycled glass and concrete. The color is Sky Pearl. Once the counter tops were in the mosaic glass tile was installed. The tile is Caicos Glass Mosaic and the color is "Blue Beach". The final touches were the can lights installed in the living room and pendant lights over the breakfast bar and dining room. The pendant lights are made from hand blown vases with the bottoms cut out and this special look is to represent jellyfish. The effect is awesome. | $25k | Beaverton, OR
Porch Conversion/Formal Entry Creation/Chimney Replacement/Bay Window Conversion | Nov 2015 | We removed and replaced the home's front porch, adding interior space to create a formal entryway. Also, we removed the rounded window above the garage, exchanging it for a rectangular design. Finally, we replaced the poorly insulated fireplace alcove with an insulated, full sized fireplace. | $14k | Tualatin, OR
Aloha Kitchen and Master Bath/Closet Expansion and Remodel | Sep 2015 | This kitchen was so small you could barely open the oven without hitting the refrigerator. What we did was move the exterior wall with the window and sink out 3 feet still under the existing roof. We also moved the front door over 3 feet adding another 3 ft to the side of the kitchen. The total space added was about 70sq ft. It doesn't sound like much but what a difference it made! | $50k | Beaverton, OR
Deck Restoration | Jun 2015 | Deck Lighting Deck Railing: add 2 8' cedar railing sections between the 2 new existing sections to match. Remove lattice railing sections and add 4 sections of cedar railing to match existing railing using existing posts. Add 24" step between opening down to lawn Patio Cover Repair: Remove old patio corrugated cover, repair drain and down spout | $4k | Beaverton, OR
Beaverton Kitchen and Home Remodel | Feb 2015 | Our customer purchased this home and had quite a bit she wanted done before moving in. The most challenging part of the project was the kitchen. The goal was to rearrange the appliances and add counter space to create a more functional kitchen work space. This required building a series of custom cabinets to match the existing cabinets. We also raised the dishwasher 6" to make loading and unloading easier. We also insulated, hung drywall and painted the garage, repaired the original deck, added railing and built a 10 x 10 section at a lower level that connected the deck to the sliding door from the living room. There were repairs to the roof, plumbing and siding. We hung new exterior lighting and we painted most of the interior including the master shower. | $25k | Beaverton, OR
Basement Remodel | Feb 2015 | This is the basement of a NE Portland home build in the 50s that we converted into a playroom, media room, office and laundry room. | $18k | Portland, OR |
