My refrigerator/freezer would intermittently defrost. David from Electro Mechanical Service Professionals came out and diagnosed a switch that went bad, and told me it was an uncommon occurrence. He did not have a replacement on him but while still on-site he searched a few places and came up with the best priced part, saving me quite a bit of money. In the meantime, David instructed me on how to keep the fridge form defrosting while we waited for the part to arrive. David also suggested that since he would be in there anyway, I ought to replace a second switch that commonly failed on the model I had, rather than having it fail sometime in the future and risking another service call. The second part was quite a bit more reasonably priced that\n the first switch, so for a few extra dollars I bought the peace of mind that the refrigerator would be set up to work again, problem free, for years to come. When the switch arrived David called, scheduled a time to come back, then arrived and installed both switches. The refrigerator has been cool without fail ever since!
