Tom Lee Contracting

BEWARE!! TOM LEE IS A FRAUD AND CONMAN. We paid him over $140,000 to do the cabinets in our new house. He wouldn't show up to do any work unless we agreed to pay him each time he came, which we ultimately did in an effort to get him to come out and and install cabinets. Once we started nearing the full amount of the cost of the cabinets, he finally just stopped coming all together. After months and months of trying to get him to come out and him giving us excuse after excuse as to why he hasn't been out (he's sick, his truck is broke down, there's been an emergency, etc.) he finally admitted that he didn't have the money to buy the material to finish our job. Since it was in our best interest to have him finish the cabinets instead of having someone else come in after him to finish, we agreed to pay the supplier directly for the material and pay Tom Lee an additional $20,000 in installments as he completed each section of our house by a designated deadline. We even agreed to pay him an additional $5000 if he finished early...before the designated deadlines. He verbally agreed, but when we had our attorney draw up a contract, he refused to sign it. You see, Tom was just trying to con us out of more money and was never planning on finishing the cabinets. Look him up on OSCN or do a simple Google search and you will find that Tom Lee does this all the time. We have heard that he spent our money on medical bills. We have heard that he spent our money to finish another job. Now he's trying to turn this on us and say that there were so many changes made that he needs more money to finish, which is a total lie. This guy is lazy. He whined throughout the entire process. He has major money problems. He is a liar and he is a conman. Do your research. You'll be sorry if you use Tom Lee for anything.
