About Koala T Exteriors
We started 15 years ago in the home remodeling business as installers, working with many of the largest companies in the greater Northwest. For us , quality work has always been of utmost importance, so when we felt that there were limitations being put on us regarding the amount of quality that we could provide we decided it was time to expand our business. This way we could provide a superior home improvement experience not only on the installation side but also on the customer service side. With the combination of these two ingredients we knew we could provide homeowners with the quality and peace of mind they deserve. Having installers as owners means that quality installation is our top priority.

  | 1970's home in Milwaukie, Oregon | Mar 2016 | All of the roofs that we do are certified through owens corning. we dont just install a roofing shingle we install a roofing system to protect your home. This home was a full tear off. The products used were as follows: Owens Corning Duration designer Colors shingles in aged copper. 10 in Deco Ridge for the ridge cap Owens Corning starter strip Valley metal Weather Lock G leak barrier in the valleys and around all roof penetration Owens Corning ridge vent system Owens Corning Deck Defense underlayment We replaced all the metal, vents and pipe jacks on the home.   | Mt Scott Color Plus siding Job | Nov 2015 | This home was a full re-side with Hardie pre-painted Color Plus siding and Color Plus trim. Trim tabs were used on all of the window trim and corners to minimize face nailing and improve the appearance. We replaced 4 of the windows with Plygem premium series triple pane windows and a great lakes triple pane sliding glass. Originally we came out to repair a section of bad siding but after further inspection the homeowner decided to replace everything. It was a good thing that they did. Even though the siding didn't look extremely bad we found a significant amount of rot on the back side of the home. We fixed the rot in a day and now the homeowner is very happy with the completed project. | $30k | Portland, OR |

| 1970's Home | Aug 2015 | On this home we replaced all of the siding with Hardie Color Plus siding. This time the homeowner wanted a trim color that Hardie didn't offer, so she went with primed trim and decided on the color at a later date. There was rot that we found in the back corner by the sliding door. The rot had penetrated all the way through the studs and molded the insulation so we ended up replacing insulation and and the studs on this one. | $13k | Portland, OR |
