Emerald Repair Services is a family owned and operated small business located in southern Virginia Beach. We started our business advertising to our neighbors in Courthouse Estates. Through word of mouth we expanded our coverage area and now work in Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Norfolk. We provide superior craftsmanship at reasonable prices and are committed to making our customers happy. Satisfaction is always guaranteed but a happy customer is our goal. We pride ourselves on that goal and do what we can to attain it. We hope to continue to grow our business but will never lose sight of the customers who made this all possible.

Used Jim to paint our condo, install backsplash in kitchen and other minor repairs. His work is excellent and he is very diligent to do the job like it was his own home. Highly recommend Emerald Repairs! Friendly and economic. A great combination in a business where you don't know who to trust. -Gregg & Gloria Olson

Sandbridge Beach House Shower Renovation | Jul 2015 | We were hired by a homeowner to renovate her existing shower stall in an in-law suite attached to her house. It was a fiberglass surround that she wanted tiled. We removed the surround, replaced the shower pan and used subway and glass tile for a total transformation. We also built and installed a new vanity along with beadboard on the walls. We added beadboard to an existing cabinet and changed the hardware. We also painted the living area, bedroom and another bathroom in the main house. The homeowner was very pleased with the results and as the pictures show it was quite a transformation. | $5k | Virginia Beach, VA
The "Pet" Project | Jun 2015 | From time to time we get requests to duplicate a project seen on Pinterest. We had that opportunity earlier this year. The homeowner wanted to make use out of the space under her stairs. She had seen on Pinterest a project that was a great use of wasted space. It would be a "home" for her pups when she was out. A much cozier and homey environment than your typical crate. | $1k | Virginia Beach, VA
Aragona Village Flooring Job | Apr 2015 | Our homeowner wanted to change out her carpet to wood flooring. She chose a really nice wood and it transformed the look of the rooms dramatically. | $1k | Virginia Beach, VA
Ocean Lakes Laminate Floor Installation | Mar 2015 | We installed laminate flooring in a bedroom and painted the living area. | $1k | Virginia Beach, VA
Kitchen Backsplashes | Mar 2015 | We've installed several kitchen backsplashes. Some homeowners chose to have under cabinet lighting added and it certainly adds a nice touch. Kitchen backsplashes are a good bang for the buck when looking to update a kitchen. | $600 | Virginia Beach, VA
The Sign Revival | May 2014 | We were hired by a property management company to paint the sign to a condominium complex. The before picture is barely readable | $400 | Virginia Beach, VA
Courthouse Estates Staircase Makeover | Apr 2014 | We were asked to do another Pinterest makeover. The staircase that was there now looks very dated in these photos. The new addition with the custom newell post makes a great impression when someone comes into the house for the first time. | $1k | Virginia Beach, VA |
