We have attempted to get a refund for unfinished work, damages and loss to our property and materials purchased for a bathroom remodeling with Wolak Interiors. This contractor is very unprofessional, he doesn't communicate well with his clients and his company does not live up to its statements on the website “Your satisfaction is our priority” or that the “customer’s needs are of utmost importance.” He has known for months that our goal was to have the house on the market but yet he refuses to address our concerns. I am a retired USAF 28 year veteran. My family and I have never had such an experience in any country or other state where we lived and served. If you search other websites you will see a common theme of reviews. Like those who visited Porch.com we too saw the positive consumer ratings and the purported BBB A+ rating. Unfortunately it wasn't until we paid this contractor and saw the product of the workers that we contacted the BBB where we were informed that this business is not BBB accredited. And in digging a little deeper we found that there were several C, D, and F ratings among the As. Like our family, other families also cited how the workers lack professionalism, respect for property, poor workmanship, and lack in an attention to detail. If this company provided a level of worker consistency or genuine concern for the client, the owner would have resolved this issue yet he refuses to; as a result we have not had use of the room that was poorly constructed. Nor have we been able to market our home for sale. Our requests to Wolak were simple, basic and very reasonable: measurements, worker credentials, accountability for the items his workers requested we purchase from the local Lowe's, and a drawing of the proposed project. Since the owner was unresponsive to our requests and because the project seemed to have no direction and the workers did more damage than construct, we stopped work on this project. Wolak has wasted our time, exhausted our patience and our taken our money. It is odd how the positive reviews I read on this site are from the same time period he was supposed to be working on our project. I guess it is hit or miss with Wolak. Or perhaps Mark Wolak only sends the competent workers to certain projects.

Kitchen/Full Bathroom/Demo and Remodel + additional cabinets/doorway changes/Painting/New bay window/flooring/hardwood flooring/deck powerwash/stain/Playground paint etc etc One of the best contractors we have ever dealt with. On the first phone call I left a message and got a call back within 10 minutes and every time we called thru the entire project - that was the case. Unheard of in this day and age. Mark is the real deal. He listens to you and understands what you want and HE is not satisfied until you get it. The project was slated for 4 to 6 weeks. It did take extra time, but this was a high end kitchen with a LOT of custom touches (ie: added cabinets/redesigned and enlarged pantry closet, removed desk and added more cabinets, new center island, all new floor and bathroom tiles, relocated fridge and added oven, all LED lighting, removed tub and converted to tiled shower, reworked plumbing, etc etc etc) The job was completed in 8 weeks. This was very understandable. Mark's employees are very conscientious and thoughtful regarding what the customer wants and they are also some of the best people you will ever meet. Wolak Interiors does not do new construction - only remodeling - so keep that in mind. But if you are looking for this kind of work, weather kitchen, bathroom or other - you are talking about the best in the business when you call this company. We will be calling them back in a year or two to do our master bath and closet/laundry room rework.

Wolak Interios is an excellent company that strives to fully satisfy. This was the only company that truly listened to my desires and made sure to explain all possible options and limitations that could lie ahead. They have a trustworthy, courteous and hardworking group of craftsman. The end was everything and more than I was hoping for. You made my family very happy and proud of our new kitchen. Thank you!
