I've used Chris Manus a couple of times now. A few years ago, I needed someone to write a letter for my insurance company to state that work had been done on my house sufficiently to correct water issues. He answered my initial contact promptly, come out when he said he would, and provided me with the letter. Recently, it was time to fix the sagging floors in my 45 year old home. He came out, explained what the problem was and gave me a competitive estimate. The house had not been built to current code and didn't have enough support for the floor joists. He had his masons build new piers in the crawlspace and then he raised the joists to level the floors. He worked within my budget and came when he said he would - or it things arose, he let us know. I'm currently working with him on estimating additional work that needs doing throughout the house; an outside retaining wall, insulation installation in the crawlspace, and a bathroom remodel. He has been great about adjusting the scope of work until we are able to make it fit the budget that we have for the job, and giving us affordable options for how to get them done. I'd recommend Chris and Manus Contracting for any work that you have to do. He is personable, does good work, and has good workers.
