Complaint inferior workmanship to soffit and facia miss matched materials, bondo applied to wood areas rather than properly cut to make repair with scrap material, did not weather seal, did not repair damage to downspout, will not return calls since getting paid. I hired and paid this company nearly $8.000.00 for both interior trim and ceiling and exterior house paint work and wood repairs. Initially I was happy and gave a good review on thumbtack. I found some Items but the owner would come back. After a while I found it easier to make the repairs myself rather than wait for the contractor. I found the work well below professional standards both in workmanship and professionalism. After the job was finished I started to find large sections in the interior of trim that was not painted behind furniture and appliances, door and window edges, tape left on baseboards and painted over, and nail pops and cracks not properly sanded or finished before being painted over. A couple months later (Part 2 of the bid) we had BTP paint the exterior of the house. From a distance it looked good, but up close the finish work and wood repair is well below the standard I expected from hiring a professional. After walking the job I submitted a punch list by text, since we could not get a return call, and I expected BTP to come and finish the job. My mistake, I cannot get a return call or text, and once he did text my wife and set a time to return to fix the damaged downspount and fix the paint. She waited the entire on him, but no call/no show. The last 2-3 days of the job BTP did not show up at all despite confirming they would, asking me to leave him access to my house, and then had not communicate he was not coming.. One trip back was made prio to ending the job to pick up equipment and we walked the job quickly that night as it was getting hard to see. I have not seen nor heard from BTP since he got paid. This is an unacceptable job. Since he did not repair the items and damages from. I do not expect to see him again. I do expect to have to call another contractor to repair the wood work xxxxx did. Some of the items I found/find : Caulk not smoothed out before being painted over on finished trim Shaky edges and trim work, Spills Large areas of trim and porch totally missed. The use of different material on the wood repairs that was not a match in material or size of the items removed on finished soffit and fascia. Gave my wife a story about wood sizes changing over time. 1" pine is married to 2" MDF on corner. Corners under gutters are not caulked which were rotted and needing replaced for that very reason One piece of fascia board was cut about an inch short from the outside corner and he filled the gap with a bondo and then painted over it. The trim was left with nail heads and blemishes showing then painted over. I have had to paint a great deal of surfaces to correct the paint work I was left with or totally missed. In addition, there was damage to our yard from the pressure washers killing large areas of grass, damage to the downspout that was reinstalled on the house even after pointing it out, damage to an expensive yard light that was broken by tossing wood and debris on top of it and repaired by using electrical tape to tape the shaft of the light to its base after I dug up the stake and pulled the light out of the ground after being jammed in the dirt leaving the light about 4-6 inches shorter than the rest. Finally, the area around the house was not properly cleaned up leaving us to pick up old caulk, a couple dozen cigarette butts this time,( first time it was a can half full of water and dozens butts left in the front hedges), nails, and wood chips from the yard and flower beds. My wife and I raked out the dead grass and reseeded the yard in two places, covered that was cleaned behind the pine trees in my brand new professionally installed newly laid red mulch. I continue to touch up and totally repaint areas that were missed or poorly done. To end it all I have never heard from BTP nor has he did not own up to any of the items above nor has he attempted t make contact to explain why he has not come back. The house was finished for over 2-weeks. If you hire him, I hope you have better luck than I did. Hang on to you money until you are happy, check behind everything, and look at all repairs I want the company to finish the paint work, replace the wood not properly repaired on fascia, replace the wood on fascia not replaced on left garage corner, right rear second floor corner cut short and bondo as it was agreed to, and replace the damaged downspout as promised in our last conversation, and seat the nails, finish, and paint the trim, next to the front porch by the rose bush.
