Septic System Inspection | Apr 2014 | As part of our INTEGRATED Inspection Services, we offer Septic Evaluations performed by highly experienced septic system technicians. A home's septic system is one of its most important elements and is also one of the most costly to repair, should it fail. Septic Evaluations go FAR BEYOND a simple "dye-test." Our trusted technicians provide: Removal of lids to allow for an Internal Evaluation. One-hour stress test to ensure the leach field is functioning properly. Recommendation for pumping, servicing or repair, if needed. Written report stating opinion of condition, functionality and issues and recommendations. Consider this client: The Homeowner stated the septic system had been regularly serviced. The potential Buyer requested to have the system pumped but opted out of having a full evaluation and stress test. Upon arrival, our technician discovered the system looked as though it had been recently pumped. However, he had concerns. The potential Buyer agreed to have an evaluation and inspection completed. The technician found MAJOR leech field issues and a variety of other, costly, issues with the system. This real estate transaction was set to close within a day. With the information provided by our technician, the Buyer was able to negotiate repair costs. Had the Buyer chosen to not have the system inspected, those repair costs would have been paid from their pocket. A Septic System inspection is well worth the cost! | Rocky Point, NC | ||
