We provide design, installation, and renovation solutions to ensure the landscaping is communicating the intended message of the property. Our team works with the clients from start to finish bringing the vision of their desired appearance and feeling to reality. Also, as a complete landscape management company, we think ahead to ensure any landscape medication we make will facilitate maintenance services in the future. Landscape Installation – From small landscaping projects to complete outdoor transformations, it is our goal to end any project with a satisfied client. We are experienced, trained to handle finish grading, lawn preparation, retaining walls, hard- scapes, planting bed creation and plant installations, sod and seed, and any other project aspect. Enhancements– Have a special request? No worries! We routinely complete a variety of landscape related services for our clients. Common examples may include plant removal and replacement, addition of new planting beds, clearance pruning, lawn repair, edging repair, storm damage clean-up, etc. Our enhancement team specializes in completing a wide variety of tasks each and everyday. We are ready for anything! Landscape Management – Managing a landscape to a professional standard requires more than just mowing the lawn once a week. Allied Services offers a wide range of services to keep a landscape, and property as a whole, looking its best. However, we understand the different goals and needs of each Client property may vary. Customizing our services to meet these goals and needs, while staying within the annual budget, is a key component of our successful partnership with clients in this area. Lawn Maintenance – Our lawn maintenance program begins each year with a spring clean-up to provide a much needed touch-up following the winter months. Crews spend extra time picking up trash and spent plant foliage to return the property to a point where regular maintenance is possible to sustain a manicured and professional appearance. Lawn maintenance visits continue through the growing season until the leaves begin to fall and turf growth slows. Crews wind down the season by completing leaf clean-up and mowing lawns down to shorter heights to prevent disease development over the winter season. Also available is our year around package for all of your complete grounds maintenance needs! Shrub Pruning – Although the most apparent result of shrub pruning is size reduction, it is also a key component in promoting and maintaining healthy plants. Proper pruning improves air flow and sunlight penetration through the canopy of the plant. This prevents the spread of disease and encourages new growth and improved flower display. Our team is trained and educated in the best horticulture prescribed pruning practices, but we understand the individual preferences and needs of our clients and can apply a more customized and practical approach for any situation. Lawn Core Aeration – Even the healthiest lawns can benefit from core aeration. Core aeration is the removal of small cores of soil that allow air, moisture and fertilizer deep into the root zone of your lawn. It reduces compaction, increases organic activity, and helps to slow thatch build up. We recommend two aerations be done per year to create and maintain a healthier turf. Mulch Installation – We recommend an inch or less of new bark mulch be added to planting beds each year. In addition to the aesthetic benefits, maintaining the right amount of bark mulch in planting beds directly contributes to the health the plantings. Bark mulch serves to suppress weed growth and retains moisture for the plants. As the bark mulch breaks down, organic matter is added to the soil profile, providing nutrients directly to the root zone of the plants. Colored enhanced mulch is also available to our clients. Plant Bed Weed Maintenance – There is no greater adversary to a great looking landscape than weeds. Even the presence of one weed can significantly detract from the aesthetic value of the most manicured landscape. We offer custom programs which can include manual removal as well as chemical treatment by a licensed applicator. Perennial care and hard surface weed control can also be added to any program to manage the appearance of any property to a higher level. Seasonal Color Installation & Change – Seasonal displays provide the ideal opportunity to reinvent the feeling of a property throughout the year. Most displays center on annual flowers, but seasonal props and unique perennials can be incorporated into any design as well. Our team of designers works with our clients to create solutions which meet their needs and catch the interest of all visitors to their property. Programs are custom and can include regular, follow-up care as well.
