Cape Fear Solar installed a solar system manufactured by Sun Power, a US company, in May of 2019. Since we’re seniors the ROI decision wasn’t as easy as it would have been had we been much younger but we felt that it would be good from an ecology standpoint. Cape Fear did a terrific job of not only explaining our options, costs and financing but on the actual installation as well. The sales consultant had a program where he was able to simulate the optimal power generation for our house and we decided on a configuration that would generate 96% of our power. I spoke to three different solar companies and decided that our best option was a US manufacturer with a local installer and we’re happy with our decision. Cape Fear was the only all US option AND the most cost effective as well so that helped out decision. Cape Fear installers were at our house for 2 days and were respectful and thorough. Then Cape Fear’s project leader worked with our locale authorities and electric company to ensure that the new electric meter and necessary inspections were performed in a timely manner. I can’t say enough good things about Cape Fear Solar and while I would recommend talking to 2 or 3 companies, I would recommend Cape Fear Solar to anyone considering solar as the #1 option.

We were thoroughly pleased with our choice of Cape Fear Solar Systems from start to finish and the system is working beautifully. Although they were not the least expensive quote, we prefer dealing with a local company with excellent reviews and reputation. The process was handled smoothly and professionally throughout and we have essentially zero electric bills in an all electric house! Excellent business and personnel.

We had our solar thermal water heating system installed by Cape Fear Solar Systems in March. The installation process was seamless and we could not be more pleased with the results. We are seeing a reduction in our electric bill of nearly 40% from the same time last year. We highly recommend Cape Fear Solar. The entire team and the products they offer are top-notch.

This was a huge purchase for us but feel we have gotten excellent value for money. Our experience with Cape Fear Solar was smooth and professional from sale to installation and follow up. The system is performing better than expected and we are experiencing zero utility bills in an all electric house! Great local company and a good corporate citizen! Highly recommend.
