Ellis Construction

In April of 2012, my spouse and I purchased a house in Bucklin Estates in Elm City, NC (originally built in 2007). Just recently we decided to have the vinyl siding replaced (as it had begun to fade in certain areas), along with some other improvements. When the contractor came out to do the work, I couldn't believe what he found. There was a ton of completely rotten wood on the house...due to the shoddy workmanship and materials used by Ellis Builders, Inc. The contractor was shocked to find so much rotten wood when he began to pull off pieces of vinyl siding, etc. He actually had me take some pictures of it and thoroughly explained how it rotted, based on how the materials and work were done by the builder. I realize that some things need to be replaced after some time but to have absolutely rotten wood under the vinyl siding, and other places that should never have even gotten any moisture - absolutely appalled.
