Better Quality Carpets and Floors

I would never suggest this company for ANY SERVICES. We started doing business in July 2017, from seeing a Facebook ad. Loved Cliff, his helping style, etc. at first... but, not after this experience! We ordered carpet for our 23x24 bedroom. They came to measure and then made a date to install, delayed that date due to installer being out.. then, came to install.... however, came up short for the entryway of our room and left it undone and it had to be ordered. Install was 7-6-17 and wasn't finished after multiple delays until November) When they did come to install the missing piece, they left an awful seam. I connected with Cliff, sent pictures and Cliff noted that it will "wear down after you vacuum and walk on it" Cliff came back to our house to secure carpet selection for the rest of our house, he saw the seam and said it would be fixed. We had our deposit transferred to a new contract. Within a few months We noticed a bubble-coincidentally was also the time we noticed had our dog soiled the floor. Not sure it that was that or not, but after showing pictures to Cliff, noting it was dogs stains on the bottom it was crumbly.... He sent it off to the mill and noted it had a "DELAMINATION issue" said he would replace the entire room. After several delays again with installers out THANKFULLY, it was done, the installer,( his Son) and another man came with a massive roll ( uncut roll for 500+ sq.ft. room) of carpet in a truck ... They barely were able to get it out and wanted to unroll and cut in my garage.. I was shocked and noted I didn't want wet and dirty carpet. (It was lightly snowing and wet that day... ) They said they would go and find a place to roll it out. They left and came back... And installed....They left a chunk of carpet pieces when finished and never cleaned up anything in the room at all....but, but upon cleaning left an even WORSE seam, now running directly down the center of the room!! I immediately text Cliff and said his Son left 30 minutes ago and left a huge seam and AFTER sending pictures, he said he's going to hire a third party contractor to come out. AWESOME and EXCITED when Mike Lasgna, with Enhancing Floors came to fix this issue. He was courteous, professional, clean and wore booties OR took his shoes off to protect our floors and came well prepared with things to do the fix. When he saw the room, he chuckled and said it was a "bad hack job". It got worse as he keep working... Un-stretched carpet and actually stapled all along the room, poor seams, lack of proper glue etc. He said if he didn't come, the seam would have come undone and we would have had ripples across the room. He spent almost the entire day..put down tack strips, replaced sealing underneath that he mentioned it looked like the installer " didn't know what what he was doing because things were just not right". *Unfortunately, as of March 18, 2018, he still hasn't been paid, three months after the job was completed After noting all this information and sending all the pictures of all these issues that same day to Cliff. He said he would re-order the room and have Mike install it. We went back in forth so many times to try to connect and get things done and experienced delays/excuses/lies We cancelled the remaining jobs on our whole house and went with FLINT CARPET for a guaranteed professional job and one that we felt secure with and we were given a "family discount" because of having a family friend work there. WIN-WIN!L ***FIVE MONTHS LATER ARE STILL TRYING TO GET OUR $500.00 BACK AND A PROPER INSTALL of carpet. I was firm with Cliff and noted that we have waited and have been VERY PATIENT ...I pressed for our refund and solid date to complete. I noted I will start taking action... I WAS BLOCKED FROM CLIFF!! His wife, Linda Sprague is stating I am a "covert operative" for Flint carpet and viotile and unstable as well. I reminded them that it's not illegal to review people, especially when you have EVERY conversation in writing and pictures. I started processes of legal action!
