Do not hire Michael Dewayne Riggs unless you want to deal with his sketchy “business” practices. He claims he is licensed and bonded but could not locate this info anywhere online and when I asked him for the mailing address (to start the process of filing a suit against him in small claims court) he refused to provide this info and states he works for himself. Sloppy work, poor attitude and work ethic, and not a professional in any way, shape or form. He talks a big game like he knows what he is doing but later wants to renege out of a contract he approved and signed! He straight up said he likes to do quick jobs and doing my project the right way like he had previously agreed to would take 3 weeks. Well no kidding brother that’s why it’s called a “job.” He was going to be paid more than generously for the time needed. He is looking to make a quick buck at your expense. Do not give him any money up front. Will not make this mistake again.

Stole 1,240 dollars from me and got less than 2 hours of work out of him before he stopped answering my calls. He is not legit. Makes lots of empty promises then ghosts you after he collects a check. He did sign a contract but will lose even more money taking him to small claims court. To say he is unprofessional is an understatement. Do not hire this con artist.

Great Work, very dependable

Crew of 4 was a crew of 2 who rarely showed up. Ended up having to how a second group to come to do work. For this specific job: While I don't expect perfection, these guys didn't even finish the job. There are still many rough patches on the wall that are not smoothed out. Exposed mesh tape craters & divots seams around door molding inconsistent There are still many places that require sanding. Living room raised ceiling lower edge has a significant gap to edge of kitchen ceiling Nearly all electrical outlets and light switches not cut or set well Corner work in hallways incomplete or poorly executed Directions of what to complete was not done despite direct conversation did not complete to end of kitchen wall as requested completed closet around water tank despite request not to would have preferred use of more drop cloths Given the week+ delay in completing the job, the poor communication, and poor attention to detail, I can not recommend you.
