Waited almost 3 years to write this review because Joe Rogers collected around $150K from us, walked off the job before it was finished, and then sued us for more money even though we had to hire another general contractor to finish his work! A very disappointing ending to what we believed would be a good experience even though he was not successful in suing us. My advice if you choose to work with Joe is 1) get a 2d estimate...turns out his pricing was a bit high; and 2) space your payments out according to the work he does. Clearly, even though Joe is a pretty good carpenter and a nice enough guy, he’s not nearly as good of a businessman or money manager and when he spends your money to pay the bills from his prior projects and runs out of money to finish yours even though you have paid him in full, he ghosts you for a while and then disappears altogether. We were lucky enough to find a competent professional who was willing to accept liability for things he didn’t do and finish our project for us. Don’t be as trusting as we were.
