I am a general Contractor and I use Cains Heating and Air for all my HVAC installations and repairs. They do outstanding work, its done the same day and its high quality work. Cains has been working for me for 5 yrs and I never have had a problem, they go above and beyond what they have to do. I give them 5 stars

Cain's heating and Air Conditioning install the new unit in my home. They were supposed to give the Wi-Fi thermostat with the unit but they did not have it with them at that time. In winter, my system broke down and no heat. I called them several times and left the messages. They gave me the time but never showed up. I lost 3 days of work. My son was 2 and half year old and very sensitive to cold. He got sick and I had to take him to Urgent care multiple times. Issue was finally fixed after so many frustrations. My Air condition broke down on Sept 2nd. Heat is between 90-95. Again called them so many times, again promised me that they will come by to fix the problem. Lost 4 days of work. My son is Asthma patient. He got heat stroke, end up taking him to the urgent care again. Tired of calling them and leaving the messages. Today is September 18th and issue is not fixed. They provided me 4 years of labor and parts warranty and 10 years of Tran warranty. I asked them if they cannot come, I can get the AC fixed by other company if they will reimburse, they are refusing to do that. They don't have any ethics and heart. Horrible customer service and not good people

Terrible experience. Installed complete HVAC system (heat and air), A/C worked for 6 weeks, then new breaker box installed by James Cain caught fire and shorted out. He charged me $200 for this repair work which was clearly caused by his improper installation. 3 days later, unit stopped cooling. James Cain shows up 4 days after that and puts more refrigerant in unit. Still doesn't cool well. Compressor shuts off prematurely. After 4 phone calls to James, many broken promises, 4 missed appointments, no return phone calls and 10 more days of waiting, it was very clear he had no plans to honor his written warranty I received. I called another company to correct his work. The install was done out of code, the unit was over charged and there was a broken float switch that James installed initially. The unit was brought down to the proper refrigerant level, and the broken float switch was replaced with the proper wet switch for this unit. Unit was never low on refrigerant, the broken float switch was the problem all along. A simple fix, but James would not show up or even return a phone call. It has been over 2 months and still no correspondence from him. I do not recommend this company to anyone. Hire this company at your own risk.
