Lighten and Brighten House | Jul 2018 | This cedar home was finished in TWP nearly 20 years ago. After pressure washing and getting the house clean, we began the process of staining this dark cedar house the lightest gray we could find (Behr Solemn Silence) and trimming the windows and doors in a charcoal gray, with an accent in Firecracker Red. Tannin bleed was not our friend and cedar doing what cedar does (be difficult when going lighter) it took at least 3, often more, coats to achieve the final results. We also painted the upstairs ceiling in a haint blue tone. The result once completed, was something the owner's absolutely loved! | $8k | Blairsville, GA
Front and Back Deck | Jul 2018 | Weathered porches needed attention. The entire house was also pressure washed and cleaned at the same time. The front and back decks were solid stained in a barn red, making quite the accent on this home. | $1k | Young Harris, GA
Weathered Porch | Mar 2018 | This is a very large porch/deck on a home that was past due on regular maintenance, and had considerable mildew to remove. The porch was cleaned and pressure washed and refinished in a solid stain. | $1k | Young Harris, GA
Tobacco Stains required starting over | Mar 2018 | A couple bought a home however the previous owner was a chain smoker. It looked like he spit tobacco on the walls and ceilings. To remove the odor from the house, all the carpet was removed. We then sealed and primed all walls and ceilings throughout! We began with PPG Gripper as a primer because of the great coverage and stain hiding ability. It took spraying 2 coats and rolling 1 coat on the ceilings to get them white. The walls were primed by spraying a tack coat, followed by rolling 2 coats the Benjamin Moore's "Silver Marlin" matched in Olympic One. All trim, base, crown and doors were painted in an Olympic One semi-gloss in a hi-hiding white. Now they have a smoke-free, stain free, nearly new, or like-new home! | $2k | Murphy, NC |
