Hi……..This is Jim The Framer and we are not making a justification, but a fair view. We are totally in to and on board with and support Social Media in all platforms as long as it is based on facts along with the person posting has information that is available to all. Jim The Framer is a information technology Company for the Construction Industry. Our focus is in Rough Framing. We have framed 100’s even 1,000’s of Framing projects and have worked with multiple Contractors and Rough Framing Contractors with programs that Jim invented, wrote and produced in 1980’s. This has helped and made Contractors, Sub Contractors better at what they do and gives them the ability to make a equitably income and provide for the families. Jim The Framer is a major advocator for Rough Framers that are waring there bags and just trying to make a living for the guys that work with them and there families against those Owners, Contractors and all others that take advantage of them in the Construction Industry and frankly will make them “EAT IT” with threats of a Law Suites, Filing a complaint with the Contractors State License Board and or file against there Bond. As Ned has mentioned in his review, if you have the bad luck of meeting Jim Dumas DO NOT SIGN any contract with him. In August of 2018 he signed a contract with my father and GC for my new home build, then delayed starting. He then presented another contract claiming changes had been made when no changes in the plans had occurred. The new contract he presented was for considerably more money. He asked me for 7500 dollars to "go away" and we agreed on 5k. Fast forward to completion of my house and I submitted a complaint with the CSLB- contractors state licensing board. They thought his actions were negative enough to approve an arbitration hearing. Well the hearing just took place this past Tuesday, and I was completely shocked at the lies coming out of the mouth of Jim Dumas. He claimed to not posses a dual signed contract, he claimed the 5k I gave him was the total in consult fees because we supposedly agreed on 210$ per hour progress reports from Jim (this never happened), etc etc etc. Jim Dumas is a bad man. There are plenty of framers out there. Do yourself a favor and do not work with this man.

For those of you who don't know this fraud yet, be aware and run. For those of you unfortunately stuck with working with him, he will not even provide you a real address. However, I will provide it for you here so you all know and can threaten him if he tries to threaten you which he will. His home is: 3710 Adams St Carlsbad, CA 92008. Never hire this company or may God be with you.

JWD Incorporated, operated by James Jim Dumas, "Jim the Framer", (Jim the FRAUD) same outfit, ran off with 52% of a new house framing contract, but with no walls, second story, roof, or wall plywood, etc constructed. We hired a lawyer to help us recover some of our money. The only thing he built was a substandard 1st floor, which later we discovered was 1-3/8 inches out of level over a 12 foot distance. Another example: the joists didn't follow the plans, but were run in the longer direction, creating a spongier floor. His employees attempted to level the floor with paper drywall shims. He refused to correct these and many other errors. He also tried to charge us more than $10,000 in a phony change order, according to the new framer who took over from JWDIncorporated, In a way we were glad he left the job due to his shoddy work. Also, we discovered, unfortunately after signing his contract, that his license was under "Probationary" status and we were informed that he was not allowed to bring anyone other than himself onto a jobsite. Which would explain why he was using "Labor Ready" employees on our job. Do not use this guy.
