Spent thousands of dollars on a filtration system ~3 years ago. Needed to get a replacement cartridge for my water softener and hopped on their site to order it. Afterwards I did a little googling and found that you can buy the exact same part from other sites for less than half the price. Then looked up my actual filtration system and found it currently going for $450 + shipping. I paid over $2000!!!! Their prices are at least twice what other sites list the literal same item for. My first thought was that maybe their product was a better grade vs some kind of made in China deal. Nope, I peeled their sticker off and it was covering the same thing I found online for less... All that said, the products themselves are awesome. I love my filter and have recommended it and Aqua City to numerous friends and clients. Now I feel burned because their prices are just so ridiculous.
