If you are about to pay Trust Flooring for work, STOP and thoroughly read all of the feedback about them here and on other review sites! We hired and paid the owner Andrean on March 1st, 2021. He came back once to "correct" a poorly done job and actually made it worse. Now, he is prioritizing new jobs and more money from new clients before he resolves a major issue with us. We have been living without furniture on our 1st floor for over 2 weeks while we wait on him. We've called and texted multiple times per day and have asked him to come back so that we can "make things right" / discuss next steps, and he is not answering his phone or responding. If you hire him, he will continue to ignore us!

Andrean quoted me $1.85 a square foot to refinish my engineered hardwood floors and $25 per stair plus $150 misc fee baseboard install. Day one he sanded, day two he stained and day three he “finished” the floor although he definitely did not get two coats of poly on. I requested matte or very low luster finish and verified he would do two coats. When I first inspected the work it was glossy, but he said it would dry down. I could not walk on the floors, so I inspected as best I could and paid him. On the invoice he overcharged on the quote at $2 a square foot, almost $37 a stair. After things dried, I texted and called about the issues below but he never responded. I texted him early on to make sure he turned off the heat. But my HVAC system was filled with sawdust. The entire lower level of my house had sawdust over everything. He obviously used only the heaviest grit sandpaper with no ‘finish’ sanding leaving grooves. The stairs were brand new red oak which didn’t need sanding. He sanded them anyway and when he stained he got stain on the walls and the newly primed risers. The finish was too glossy (it didn’t dry down). There are deep sanding marks, dust and debris in the finish. Areas of the finish less than three weeks later are starting to wear. I went back to Thumbtack who said they would contact him. They said they had to pull his account to get a response. He allegedly told Thumbtack that, “(He) knew how to handle his own customers. There has still been no response from Andrean. I filed for arbitration with Thumbtack to try to get some of my money back, but Andrean let the deadline go by without agreeing to it. Since the job ended, scheduled painting took place and other work continued. I can’t refinish again as engineered has a limited refinish life. All the walls and woodwork have been painted and would likely need to be removed and repainted. I will likely need to have my floors replaced because of this. His biggest sin is that he took the money and ran and didn’t stand behind his work or respond to a customer. Beware.

Andrean was terrific. Reasonably priced and high quality work. It was a big project, he was able to turn it around quickly and was extremely responsive to our many questions. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him

Horrible custmer service. He messed up our floor and when we would call him he would tell us a day and time and he would come out to take care of the problem he created and he never did. The last tme he hung up on me.
