Lincoln Park Mansiob

Sep 2015

On-site lacquer spray finishing, no expenses spared, open budget. Carpenter and I worked together to complete the kitchen cabinets which ran the length of half the main floor with an island. All together over 100 cabinet doors and drawers. The drawers looked like a piano finish. The chatouyancy was absolutely Amazing on the stained wood portions. The outside of the boxes were lacquered off white, BM Distant Beige, which is 4 oz of black per gallon of lacquer.

110 East 15th, Holland MI

Nov 2014

This house was in need of work when I did my firat walk-thru with the homeowner. I assured him that I could do the job, and took any worry that the homeowner might have had. We agreed to primer everything from top to botton, ceilings, walls, and trimwork. Picked out what the final colors for the walls. i masked windows, and anything i wanted to protect. I then proceeded to spray the primer. I will update the rest of the project when im completed. It is currently a work in progress.

Silver Fir Drive - new construction

Oct 2014

My eatimate came in about 3500 less than what another paint contractor had bid. New construction allows me to spray the primer, the ceiling finish coats to match the trim, and the finish coats on the trim. Spraying gives what i call a "factory finish", free of brush marks. My trimwork goals here are to have flawless reflection of light, smooth, and strong adhesion of paint. The trimwork should look like its one piece. Meaning that all trim pieces that butt against each other will be caulked, hiding all gaps. Waterborne paint ended up drying and hardening and curing after a few days. I used Aura brand paint ($80/gallon) on the walls. The Aura paint is waterborne with a satin finish, and is wonderful to work with, and extremely durable and scrubbable.
