I signed the contract on 4/3/24 to install a new fence and deck. Paid upfront 50% of the agreed cost of project. Roberto Ruiz (contractor) promised to complete the project by spring but did not comply and failed to obtain the permits. Instead, he increased the price of the project in the interim. He gave me false dates and never followed up after initial home visit to finalize the plan & materials order to start the project. When I asked for refund on 6/28/24 after multiple chances to resolve the issues and he has not returned the amount till date. This company cannot be trusted, and disciplinary action should be taken against his license.
