Honey Do benches

Oct 2014

We obtained two old benches from a local church. My wife wanted them for the yard and so My daughter and I went about the task of re-finishing them and making them look brand new. We tightened all the screws, scraped and cleaned all the wood and metal and then we put a complete prime coat on all the surfaces. After that we painted (3) coats to all the metal and wood using two different colors. They turned out beautiful.

Country stair case

Oct 2014

We washed the steps and handrails of this country house to remove all the dirt, algae, mildew, etc. We applied a prime coat to the handrails. We painted the handrails, steps, stringers and posts with two coats of DUCKBACK "Super Deck" for a long lasting finish and we put an additive in the product to provide traction for the steps in case of icy or moist conditions. We also did the stair treads a different color than the handrails to give the stairs a decorative contrast. The homeowner loved it and it turned out great!!!

Trinity Children's Department

Sep 2014

After the construction was complete of raising the ceilings, putting in new sheetrock, a new floor and a new platform, our team came in and primed all the walls and put (3) final coats of green on all the main walls. We did a half accent wall in bright yellow, we painted the doors and frames red and then we added the finishing touch with a large blue stripe on the bottom and a small red stripe at the top. IT IS AMAZING what a little paint can do to the look of the place. Look out kids and bring your sunglasses!!

River house repaint

Sep 2014

We cleaned the entire house to remove all mildew and dirt and preparing it for painting. It started out with an old pinkish oil paint, which just doesn't hold up to the weather in this day and time and it attracts a lot of mildew. We then scraped all the peeling paint and caulked all the cracks to prevent water penetration. We primed all the surfaces with a premium exterior primer and then we applied a top coat of two different colors to make a brand new looking house. They were thrilled with the results.

We repainted a previously built stuffed animal shelf. We painted all the trim and shelves; installed new doors and light fixtures. We paint switch plates to match walls as well. It turned out beautiful and they were thrilled with the project.

Mom's back deck

Oct 2014

Cleaned all the handrails, steps and stringers on the back stairway to prepare it for the work to be done. We applied a prime coat to all the handrails and stairs. We then applied a double coat of a product made by Duckback called superdeck elastomeric coating. It is great for worn or splingering wood. We painted a coat of it on all the surfaces and then came back and did a two tone look on the stairs. It turned out great.
