We love to build! Our roots are in building custom homes. We have over 10 years in the process of creating a truly custom home. To us, what makes building custom homes enjoyable are the relationships we form with our clients. Our passion and love for building extends beyond just custom homes. We have an extensive background in additions and renovations. It is often the case that we build between 4 and 5 remodeling projects each year. They offer a fun and unique way to enhance an already existing home. Our Process It all starts with a vision... Our process for building a home is the result of over 10 years experience in building and remodeling homes. This process has evolved over the years and technology has played a large role in shaping our systems, but the overall goal remains the same: To make building or remodeling as easy and stress-free as possible for our clients. In brief, here is how it works: 1) Meeting & Developing A Plan Feeling comfortable with you builder is one of the most important aspects to consider when building a home. We want for your experience to be excellent and thus, we place a lot of emphasis on our 1st meeting. In this meeting we discuss what type of home you want to build, review floor plans, and give a general and very rough estimate. Most importantly, this meeting is used to understand what you are looking for in your new home or remodeling project 2) Detailed Estimating After you decide that you are ready to build with us, we will put together a detailed, "brick for brick" and "stud for stud" estimate for your project. In this estimate we will give allowances and budgets for each item in your home. The budgets are based on our meetings with you and the information we gather regarding what parts of your home are most important to you. 3) Scheduling & Building Once a set budget is created and agreed upon, we move forward with building your home. This involves creating and managing an ongoing schedule of events and subcontractors. To accomplish this we use our GD&C scheduling system. This system allows you to track the progress of your home and understand what is happening each day during the construction of your project. This system also allows our team to stay on top of the schedule and keep everyone on the same page. 4) Making Selections Picking out everything from faucets to paint in a new home can be a large task for many people. Brantley manages our selections process for you and will gladly guide you through the oftentimes overwhelming task of deciding what you want to put in your new dream home.
