Budget Fence N Deck

Unresponsive. Unreliable. Unprofessional. Hired Craig, owner of Budget Fence N Deck, to refurbish a deck and build a fence and a driveway gate. We asked Craig to leave us stain samples for the deck and that we'd let him know what we decided after we returned from vacation. We came home from our trip to find that Craig had stained our deck an ugly dark brown color...one we had absolutely no input on and that we're now stuck with. We returned home to find all of our deck furniture carelessly stacked in the back yard. When the job was finished, Craig refused to move the furniture back to the deck because his contract states that he is not to move any customer furniture. We were completely baffled as to why he would move the furniture in the first place, then stain the deck a color we did not select, and then refuse to move the furniture back to the deck. Several days after Craig finished the project, the driveway gate wouldn't close properly. It was also determined that one of our three gate openers was not programmed and thus would not work. Craig has been completely unresponsive to our multiple requests to fix these issues. Craig finally returned our multiples calls a week later in regards to our driveway gate that wouldn't close and the gate opener that didn't work. It was too late because we'd already retained Precision Garage Door to fix the issues since Craig wouldn't return our calls. Precision Garage Door of Dallas had to make multiple repairs to the driveway gate Craig installed. Precision ran the serial number of the gate motor only to find that the motor was discontinued over year ago by the manufacturer due to an internal short that caused the motor to burn out. This means that Craig installed an outdated and discontinued motor on our gate, which is the reason why the gate stopped working a couple of months after installation. Craig also did not attach the arm of the gate sufficiently and did not reinforce the gate appropriately. So, the first springtime wind caused the arm to dislodge from the gate, rendering the entire thing useless. We have now paid Precision $1, 700 to install a 2015 motor and fix Craig's shoddy workmanship. Please don't experience the same expensive frustrations we have. Just call Precision for all of your garage door and mechanical gate needs.
