I have an old factory built wood burning fireplace that was in bad shape. I had 3 companies come out to tell me I had no option other to replace the entire system, with a whopping price tag of over $12,000!!!!!! Not to mention, I felt that I was being sold into something that I didn't really need to begin with, and, I really did not like the people who came out anyway. I was referred to valor chimney services Corporation by a neighbor and decided to give them a shot . The owner Dave had come out personally to do in inspection at no charge to find out exactly what needed to be done , and did I say no charge ? That's right no charge, the other three companies charged me to come out to try and sell me something! Anyway Dave had informed me and proven to me that my particular fireplace was in extinct manufacture meaning that we could not find manufacture listed replacement parts for the fireplace or chimney . He then started the hunt to find universal fire walls? to replace the existing damaged walls chimney connectors and a That would work not to mention also that he cleaned my exterior face brick which was black and ugly! The process took about three weeks and about one full day to complete the job but since then I have been burning in my fireplace every night without consequence and I love it ! I have never had a contractor treat me the way Dave and Valor chimney services Corporation did! And the price tag was under $4000 ! A far cry from the nonsense I was being told by three supposedly reputable companies. We could not be happier with our new fireplace and we will have valor out for our service every year and have referred him to many friends and family members so far ! our total experience was absolutely wonderful and we think Dave and Valor chimney services Corporation!
