If I could give them no star it would still be too much for how badly dealing with the nightmare this company is. Not only did they send people to do work on our chimney that did not know what they were doing, they destroyed a portion of our roof and again sent a person with no experience to repair it. We had a high end roof that was in excellent condition and well maintained. We are now left with a roof that leaks, possible mold problems in our attic and has to have a blue tarp on it along with them claiming they would "make it right" only to fight us at every turn to get the roof repaired properly and not have to deal with a two toned roof. They turned us into collections after never sending any type of invoice. Two weeks prior they were trying to get us to accept a settlement payment of $5000 which would only be 1/4 of the amount to repair our roof properly. It was only two weeks later that they sent us to collections for $3,000.00 when in their own words they said we only owed $2,000.00. They are obviously making fictitious claims of what is owed to them. The unprofessional treatment my husband has had to deal with has been stressful and unneeded. Don't trust or believe that these guys are licensed or bonded. They may not even be carrying the proper insurance levels. The owner James Gaines or Trent Tolton (we aren't certain which is the real name) has a suspended license by L&I. They are using the name Masonary Specialists aka The Brick Doctor to claim they have years of experience but the only active license was from 11/24/ 2020 for The Brick Doctor while Masonary Specialist was suspended on 2/5/2021 for not meeting L&I licensing requirements. They used James Luster as their project manager who also contributed to this mess. Like us 8 months out you may still be dealing with them "making it right" by continuing to be abusive and threatening to put a lein against our home for the remainder we owe them. I can't say enough how terrible this experience has been and how much I hope that no one else has to experience this by working with this awful company! Please do not trust anything they say as you will absolutely regret it!
