AX Masonry Did a German smear/slurry on my brick home in Plano. Alonzo presented himself well and professionally at the quote. Was at the job a little in the beginning but never came back to see the finished work. Said it was his company but I'm not sure. Work was to be completed in early June. Not a lot of skill on the install, inconsistent, mortar is cracked and was severely burned and stained with an acid the used. Couple of the workers didn't even know what a German smear was. There website suggest they specialize in this technique and I would not agree. Charged me an extra 2k during install because they said a smear/slurry was more. I was 100% clear on what I asked for at the quote. It is on there website the picture of what I wanted. I doubt that picture is a house they did. Then they never came back to finish and fix the job. Unfortunately I paid them in full because I trusted it would be done. I am understanding that there are scheduling conflicts, being busy and weather delays. But it is now over 3 months of excuses and it is not finished. This is why homeowners do not trust contractors. Now I'm moving on to another masonry company or painting company to fix what they messed up. Way beyond my budget and way under my expectation.
