SCAM ARTISTS BEWARE DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! It was the most stressful and worst 3 months ever! When I 1st scheduled them, they had me go through all my rooms and say all the furniture and the size of the home with beds and baths. They quoted me $4300.00 which included 1 month storage in climate control and transporting our stuff from AZ to CO. This price was supposed to include professional disassembly and assembly of our pool table. They are the experts so I assume they know their business and around how much furniture and boxes that would be because of course I was not fully packed yet and didn't know how many boxes I would have. On the day of moving, they showed up on time, and started to walk the entire home with me 1st. I use trash bags to move cloths and shoes and was told that they needed to be boxed and actually everything but furniture must be in a box which was never told to me as there are some items that just don't really make sense to go in a box. So, they were going to have to charge me packing materials and packing fees. But that was not all, before they even started, they told me that my price more than doubled for the move! I was shocked and of course a rock in a hard spot had to move that day of course. I was livid and even started saying I asked for a walk-through even to be sure on price but of course they said they don't do that. So now my price was up to $11,575.00 for the move and having nowhere else to turn to since I had to move that day...I agreed to it but asking like 3 times that it was the final amount and they said yes (when will I learn to record conversations like this!!!!). My new home has a long driveway so I immediately pulled up pictures to show them to be sure that was all I was going to be charged and they said yes...but of course I should have been recording that conversation. They give you a 30-day window to schedule the delivery and we chose the last weekend of that time because we were not able to get into our new house right away and utilized their storage option. So, of course in the fine print it says that our delivery can be 45 days past the requested delivery date and yes it took the full time of 45 days past our delivery date. We were lucky that we were staying with family the whole time but can't imagine if we had to stay in a hotel that whole time. The delivery date finally arrived and the counterpart moving company in town called and said they looked up our address and were concerned about the driveway because they have an 18-wheeler and of course that would not go up our driveway. So, I said I would go ahead and rent a U-Haul to move our stuff up and down the driveway which we did. They also said it was going to be an additional $650 which I was stumped at because I was renting the U-Haul for that reason. I told him about our experience at the beginning and how we were already charged more than double but he said that was the best he could do. So, we reluctantly agreed because they have our stuff. When they arrived the price again changed to $800 now and they would not start until we paid! Then another blow was that they would not put together our pool table but of course the price didn't change from that either! The only good thing I can say is that they at least came with 6 movers and so our move was done in 3 hours, but that did come with heavy handling of our boxes and items got broke including one of our 3-piece slate for the pool table! Back to the climate-controlled storage...all my candles are warped and melted, and other items were ruined because of it. This company are CROOKS and will keep increasing the price on you over and over. All I can say is please don't use them! You’ll regret it the entire time! 500Move is the worst moving company ever! Stay away and save your money and sanity!!!!!!

Anthony Ayala is a very great salesperson. He knows how to get the sale. He always tries to give you very low amount to get the sales. He sends you the worksheet for Kitchen, Livingroom, Bedrooms, Appliances, Different sizes of Pianos, Different sizes of boxes (S, M, L, XL, Wardrobe boxes etc.) Everything is asked on this sheet are very specific. Once you fill out and send him the worksheet, he gives you the lowest amount to get your sale. Fun part starts the day when moving people arrive with one supervisor. That supervisor sees the same stuff listed on a sheet then tells you that he's the boss and he's even the boss of Anthony Ayala. This boss tells me that Anthony Ayala doesn't know anything and he is dumb. I moved from Phoenix, AZ to Chicago, IL. After I even filled out that worksheet, Anthony Ayala sent me email back and forth to ask me the size of my deep freezer, the bird cages, and other items as well. It was very specific transaction. Anthony Ayala quoted me the price of $2,800. The supervisor who came was very very rude, illiterate said to me that he's the boss of Anthony Ayala and Anthony Ayala is dumb doesn't know what he's doing. He told the price is $3,600. He threatened me if I wanted them to pick up stuff that's the price will be; otherwise, they have more jobs to go. I tried to call Anthony Ayala. This supervisor said it's too early and Anthony comes office at 10:00 am. It was 7:30 am. After much arguments, he told me the final and last price was $3,300. He even threatened that pne bad review he will take, but won't lower the price. He gave me 5 minutes to answer. This supervisor told me in 5 minutes if I don't answer his worker will leave for the next job. It was last day, learned lesson the hard way had to accept it. Story short they took my stuff, Anthony Ayala told me it'll take 2 weeks for the stuff to arrive. That's a lie too!! It's way more passed than 2 weeks, nothing arrived yet. I would like to suggest everyone if you even decide to move with this company, please allow 5 days to yourself for them to pick up your stuff. Let's say if you have to move by July 30th, give them the date of July 25th. Because if they come to pick up your stuff on 25th and tell you the different price then you will have enough time to contact different companies to move your stuff. Then I would suggest to go with highly rated companies like Eagle moving group. Certainly their prices will be little higher than what was quoted by 500Move, but you certainly will get better service. I really regret declining their quoted price. It was only because Anthony Ayala quoted me lesser price.

I wish I could do less than a star! I hired 500move a year ago for a relocation move to Kansas. They jacked up the price $1,000 when they picked my stuff up. There were items that needed to be in boxes that I had been told in advance they would pack, they didn't and they were destroyed. I was told I had up to 90 days to file a claim on anything I found broken as I unpacked. When I did, they denied the claim. I had a brand new washing machine that was delivered with a dent. However, because of how they stacked it in the house, I couldn't see the dent until daylight the next day. I had a $150 aluminum ladder that was only months old that wasn't delivered. The driver took me out to the truck, pointed at my ladder and said it was someone else's. They promised for nine months that it was on the next truck from the "warehouse" .. never got it. They promised to pay $100 for it... never got it. When I filed a claim for arbitration, they completely and totally lied to the arbitrator. The entire operation is ridiculous! They rush you about just to get in and out with all the damage they cause in between. In short, they caused $1,300 in damage and theft losses. Pass them!

This is the worst company to go with. They have ethical issues along with customer service issues. I spoke to lisa when I was booking my move and she assured me a 3 business day delivery which is not what their contract states but since it’s an employee telling you, you have a bit of trust that it’s true. When the formen showed up to pick up my belongings he also let me know they would be expediting my move and I would be reviewing my belongings by 1/01/2021. It’s is 1/13 and the only ignorant person I’ve been able to talk to is stephanie which should work in their warehouse and not contacting people. She even laughed on the phone because I was asking for an accurate eta. If you want a company that is going to care for your business DONT USE 500 move. They hide behind their contract and say they are well within their “timeline” but fail to take ownership for the mistakes their employees do. Oh and if you wanna know why I didn’t pay for expedited shipping it’s because no one told me I could. Lisa even admitted she didn’t know any pricing and stephanie is quick to say it’s 5k but then said she doesn’t handle anything with sales.. so why is she quoting numbers the sales rep don’t even know. I still don’t have an eta on my items. I’ve asked in MULTIPLE emails to have bier general manager call me and they haven’t. Not only do they have poor service and stupid people working for them but it goes to show why they give that poor workmanship because of their owner and general Manager also being ignorant and not caring about their customers.
