We purchased 10 boxes of laminate flooring from him. It had mold. It must of been outside in rain. He would give our money back.

We hired Ray based on the recommendation of a close friend. Initially everything was off to a good start. We had no problems and things were going well. We have alot to learn from this experience. When hiring a contractor, you have to be clear with them and not allow room for gray areas. As every job goes, there are always missed steps that the costumer notices and brings to the attention of the contractor. When we starting bringing missed steps to Ray, he would instead be defensive and it required us to keep reminding him of those missed steps over and over. Unfortunately we had to take extreme measures to part ways with this contractor because he became unprofessional and created an incident that required the involvement of the police department. After this incident, the best step forward was to pay the agreeable amount of money for the part of the job that was already performed. Home improvement is very challenging but it is very disappointing when we shut the door on many other painters and choose to go with Ray based on recommendation from a good friend and it turns out that he was the most regrettable decision we have ever made in our lifetime.
