Phil Gordon | Aug 2014 | Phil decided to move out of his existing home into a new home. While trying to sell his new home, a couple of issues popped up on the home inspection report that needed repair. The first thing that popped up was grounding a few outlets inside of his home. We did this by swapping out his existing 2 prong outlets, installing a grounding pigtail to the box, and installing a GFCI outlet to be safe. The next project we did was replace a sub panel. Phil's existing sub panel was not up to current codes. The grounding wires and neutral wires we're landed on the same bars, the breakers we're of an incorrect manufacturer, and the panel was not labeled. We replaced the sub panel with a Square D QO panel. We installed all new breakers, separated the grounds and neutrals, and even labeled the box. The sub panel was then re inspected and passed with flying colors. The last project on the list was repairing the main panel box. There we're a couple of breakers inside of the panel box that we're not compatible with his brand of panel. He had a Siemens brand panel box that a handyman installed the so called "universal" General Electric" brand breakers in. Every Panel Box will have a legend, almost like a table of contents in it that will tell you what types of breakers you can install inside of your box. Phil just happened to have breakers in his box that didn't line up to his panel legend. We replaced the breakers with the correct brand. We then did separate Electrical Inspection of the home to ensure all safety items had been taken care of. All of Phil's tasks we're completed and he was able to sell his home. | $1k | Phoenix, AZ
Andrew Caliendo | Aug 2014 | Andrew's home had ungrounded outlets throughout his entire house. He was selling his house and the buyer's home inspection required him to repair this issue before the home could be sold. Instead of following suite with the other electrician's estimates of rewiring the home, we we're able to ground every single outlet around the home. | $1k | Phoenix, AZ
Jerry Glocsman | Aug 2014 | Jerry had issues with a panel box at one of his rental properties. His tenant was experiencing flickering lights throughout the home, occasional power outages, and no power to the a/c. When we arrived, we assessed the situation and recommended replacement. We replaced the panel with a new Cutler Hammer Panel and installed all new breakers. We also installed a whole house surge protector. | $3k | Peoria, AZ |
