Emerson Blodgett LLC did a great job with the installation of my swim spa and I would have no hesitation recommending them to others. I had several bids for the work, and his was right in the middle. He assisted me with a design that worked and he and his workers were prompt, professional, and well-trained in all ways. They prepared the site, poured the concrete slab, installed 220 volt power and installed a water faucet in a day and a half. Workers cleaned up their work areas and were very personable. All requests were promptly addressed and I was very pleased with all the work done. I recommend them for this type of work.

I used Emerson Blodgett to extend a driveway and it was the worst mistake of my life. I had nothing but issues. Several broken or uncapped sprinkler lines were under the concrete and I had a very large wash out from under the concrete. After two months I had to have Emerson totally take out one zone from the sprinkler system, which I will only be able to use again if I run new pipe from the control valve and her had to reroute another zone. He had to take out the zone because he could not locate the right pipe to fix it or reroute it and it still leaks if I turn the zone on. I have two long cracks in the new concrete and am paying another company to bust up one section, fix the pipe, fix the dirt, compress it and lay new concrete. It was very hard to get Emerson out to fix things and his crew was inconsistent during the initial job. I had to pressure wash my neighbors driveway because Emerson used a machine to bore a hole under the concrete to get a sprinkler zone to work and he did not have the hydraulic lines properly connected and it leaked hydraulic fluid all over the drive. He put down some cat litter and some laundry detergent but it looked bad after that. I asked Emerson to make sure his crew filled in the large crevice with dirt and pack it in so the concrete would be more stable and he agreed. At the end, I asked his crew if they did that and they said yes but two days after they left and I cleaned up the area I saw they did not fill in it at all. I would never recommend anyone use Emerson.
