Double K Remodeling

Lots of wasted time and quality of the work did not measure up!! Very disappointed! The business owner is not truthful. Would tell us that he had the items completed then weren't. He was not being honest. Signed a contract for a kitchen remodel to be finished on 02-14-21 and it is 05-12-21 and it's still not complete. Asked for the money upfront-said it was for materials and to pay his helpers. We had to call him VERY often to ask if he was showing up for work because he would not come for days. Some times he would decline our calls. Ruined several cabinets, had to remeasure and make new cabinets, did not use correct bonding material and brought us cabinets that weren't even primed. My husband had to touch up, fix and repaint at our expense. Next project was an outside porch to be built. Gave him 1/2 the money (6,000) so he could put us on the calendar to move to the outside as soon as he finished our kitchen, signed a contract stating he would complete this job May 5th. He has not started this job! Then later told us he couldn't do the job. Brought us a trailer of $2,400 worth of material and left. Has not settled up on the rest owed to us back.
