BEWARE DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY.*** I originally hired Giovanni to install tile on the first floor of my house and made the mistake of giving him the rest of the project. He made it seem like he was experienced and had workers capable of remodeling my kitchen, stairs and bathroom. I noticed early on that he basically just had one employee who was a handyman he used for everything from electricity to plumbing to painting. The carpenter who installed my kitchen cabinet doors would only come on the weekends because he has a full time job. Needless to say the project was started in January and it is still not finished. My kitchen counter had to be redone after it was installed because he used two different color quartz slabs leaving me without a working kitchen for 7 weeks. He had to redo the stairs because the stain on the steps came out black the first time. I think he used a paint brush instead of a rag. After that he disappeared. He answered my phone calls a couple of times and kept promising to come back to finish a few details. Like installing an interior glass door which he got paid for but never installed. The worse problem is tile grout is discoloration all over my house. I purchased a beautiful dark wood like Italian porcelain and a month after he installed it the dark grout started changing colors. He claimed he would clean it and fix it. Now the grout is spotted and uneven turning into a cement like color in all different areas of the house. I consulted several experts and they tell me that it happens if the grout is not mixed properly, therefore this is a shoddy installation job. I have left Giovanni multiple messages with no avail. This leaves me no other recourse than to take legal action. He is mild manner and says yes to everything but is inexperienced, makes many mistakes and eventually does not come thru.

Giovanni Rodriguez is the worst person/Contractor to deal with. I paid all the money and he did a sloppy job and he does NOT return phone calls. As of 7/2/17 (3 weeks), I have called him several times to fix the bathroom problem and still nothing. Be aware...I called BBB to report him and the Gio's Flooring, Inc. VERY POOR!!!
