Follow up review: Jason, the owner of the company, promptly called us back after seeing our dissatisfied review. He was courteous and eager to address our concerns. My biggest concern was he didn't call us back as promised by his office staff after we made several attempts to discuss the damages done to our old house, new house, and furniture. Apparently, there was a miscommunication between his office staff and him, and our message got distorted/lost between their communications with each other. This follow up call was pleasant and made me feel better about their company. He listened to our concerns and was ready to make amends. He really values his company and wants his customers to be satisfied with their service. Word of advice: if you use this company and have concerns, contact the owner DIRECTLY, and don't let his office staff transmit any messages to him. First review: We moved to a brand new house about 2 weeks ago and used MVP moving to help us move after reading these great reviews on MVP. Positives: Jason was very accommodating with our schedule as our house did not close on time. He was flexible with rescheduling our move. The guys who moved us were nice, except for one of them who was disrespectful to my mom when she tried to give him direction on what to move. The rookie on the team (I believe his name is Jeremy) was very accommodating with where I wanted my boxes and furniture. I asked him a couple of times to move a box or piece of furniture from the dining area down to the basement or up to the rooms, and he was happy to move them each time I asked. Negatives: The price of our move went over by MORE than 20% of our initial quoted price, even though it was promised in the beginning that it would NOT be over 20% of the quoted price. The truck that came to our house was smaller than expected, so we had to make 2 trips instead of one, which most likely contributed to our final price being over 20% of quoted price. They were not able to move everything from my old house to my new house due to the limitation of truck space. I heard one of the guys complaining how heavy and awkward our furnitures are and how tight the space is to move them in, even though my old house is 2000 sf with 9ft ceilings and my new house is 4000sf with 9ft ceilings. They were not very careful with our walls and furniture. They put 2 dents in the walls of our old home, a huge scratch on the staircase wall of our newly built home, a dirty handprint on our master bedroom wall of our new home, scratches on several walls of our new home, scratches on our new hardwood floors, broke our vase, and broke 2 lamps. My husband had to get someone to fix the walls of our old home quickly since the new owners wanted to move in right away. He called MVP to see if they have any reimbursements for such damages, and they said they would reimburse us with receipts. However, since my husband had to hire someone so quickly, he didn't get a receipt. We wanted the wall fixed before the new owners moved in. The person my husband spoke with said he will have the owner call him to see if there are exceptions and to see if there are other accommodations for our damages, but it has already been 2 weeks and we heard nothing from the owner. They didn't wrap our furniture as I expected. The plastic bed covers we bought from MVP to cover our mattresses were useless because the movers said it was too hard to move with them on, so they took them off once at the new home. Now, there are dirty handprints on our mattresses. They also didn't secure the plastic covers on the mattresses when they were in the truck because I saw the plastics falling off. All in all, I would NOT use MVP for my next move or recommend them to any of my friends or family.

Great company, extremely affordable, and awesome service. I called on a Thursday and needed to be moved out on a Sunday. Erik gave me a time frame of 8-9 for them to arrive and they were there promptly at 9am. We had 3 people working non-stop for about 6 hours to get us fully moved out of our 3 bedroom house, including packing, wrapping, and moving large pieces of furniture. The movers were extremely cordial and accommodating, glad we used this company.
