And I thought the last management company was bad. (To be fair, it ALSO was bad!) Bono & Associates is the "management company" for Dean Woods Homeowner's Association, Inc in Orange County, Florida. They are, like my lived experience with pretty much all other HOA "management companies", a company that exists to in a near-predatory fashion take your monthly dues so that you can ask yourself what exactly they're doing with it in your community, since they most certainly aren't using it to trim trees, re-sod browned grass that they are responsible to maintain (as they harass you about yours), or any of the other violations you may have received for which they are also objectively and demonstrably guilty of. Even for the things they are in compliance for, this HOA (and so whichever management company they are currently on) will single individual homes out to selectively enforce against, discriminate against and harass. For anyone reading this, under this HOA/management company or any others in Florida, I encourage you to look up your rights under the Fair Housing Act! :) The defense of "we are the management company for your HOA, not your HOA" is not relevant to my complaints, nor to many of the other complaints that are leveled at you. The *choice* to selectively enforce the rules you were hired to enforce is indeed a *choice*. As the "management" company, you are responsible for the enforcement (and lack thereof, too) of the covenant that binds us, the tenants, and the HOA. It is, in fact, your *legal* responsibility to enforce the elements of that covenant equally and to all parties, in order to create a circumstance that doesn't result in selective enforcement (to any of us tenants, but also to the community that is the other side of the covenant that we agreed to itself). This is the second management company that Dean Woods Homeowner's Association, Inc has had that has tried to invalidate my review by way of trying to say that I don't reside at or own this home. To this, I simply say "do better research, then". As was true last time, and as is still true: I own this home with my partner, both on the deed. This is information readily available to the HOA and to you as the management company, and also readily available online as part of public information. Believe it or not, despite your bone to pick with us, gay people can own a home together! Stay mad. In trying to solve this problem without escalation, I have been met with only unprofessional communication and puerile games, as was my experience with the last management company employed by Dean Woods Homeowner's Association, Inc. The reality of the situation is that between our mutually signed covenant and Florida State law, responsibilities and precedent are clear. Happy to edit my review (here and elsewhere!) to reflect a change in my reality with B&A. Until then, this accurately reflects my experience.

OMG! The worst HOA management company in the world! They fine everyone in the community for trivial "non-issues" to collect "processing fees". Unbelievable! "Parking violation" if a vehicles is parked legally on the street near your property, "Roof needs to be cleaned" (I mean really?), "Fence is dirty", "Lawn has dry spots" (during the drought-water restriction), "Dog poop on lawn" (don't own a dog!), Police car seen at your house (ya, I called them), "Strange vehicle parked at house" (husband using a rental car), "Dog might be a pitbull, submit legal breed papers" (cocker spanial), Noises heard outside house? And all require responses and are charged $35 + cost of certified letter + legal expenses (often over $200). These funds are collected against home owners and go directly into Bono & Associates bank account! The BBB needs to investigate them and they should be banned by the state for fraudulent business practices against the communities they are supposed to be performing a service to. It's disgusting and should not be tolerated!
