Upzide Down Sod

We had 8 pallets delivered and installed for $1800 what a great price! The team came in and started at 9:30 and done by 1 pm! We were told the crew cut the lawn and palletized it the same morning! The sod looks great!

I really wish I could post videos and pictures to show you how the sod was delivered. I was at work and we were promised green Bahia sod. Clean sod for our new yard that we just spent $5000 to have new dirt hauled to our property to elevate it and we wanted to re-establish grass. We had Carlose Colchado the owner of UPZIDE DOWN SOD come and walk our property while the other contractor was there. He said he had Bahia sod he could deliver on Monday April 5th, 2021 for $83 a pallet since I am a Veteran and it would be beautiful for us. We were quoted 2 trucks. 18 pallets a truck. $3000. (36) We only needed 28 pallets and that cost was $2324. My wife Wonda was home during the install and when she ask Carlos how much to pay he said $2500. This was $176 dollars more than he quoted me. Unfortunately I was unavailable for her to call because of my work. I ask Carlos why he charged over the quoted price and he stated he still had 8 pallets to be delivered. I ask for my money back and he refused it. He also stated he would send me a receipt that same day for the cash $2500 my wife gave him and we had to constantly call, email and text him before he sent it on Wednesday the 7th Then he made the receipt reflect $90 a pallet and gave a $20 discount!!! I am furious and very disappointed in Carlos Colchado's ethical behavior towards myself as a Vet and to my family. I have racked wheel barrels full of dead grass from my yard and spent hours pulling weeds and briars from this Crappy sod! it also has cow patties all over it. I just don't understand how people can sleep at night! I would not refer this company to anyone. I will be posting this review on Facebook and anywhere I can so others like myself are not taken advantage of. The owner Carlos Colchado is the person we spoke to for our sod. I could not remember it before but I looked on his website and I just want decent sod for the money I paid.
