Do yourself a favor and read the reviews. This is without a doubt the worst management company I have ever dealt with in the history of Los Angeles. Are the properties okay? Sure. There is a roof over your head, but don't bring up the termite issues or massive burglary problem or they will have zero response. Not only to mention that, but they literally let ANYONE live on the property. Every day, its constant yelling, screaming, and domestic abuse that you have to be privy to on the property, yet no one does anything about it. Neighbors are trash. They complain about everything, throw trash everywhere, call the cops when you play music at 2 PM, but not when there is a crazy homeless person on your property at 2 AM? Make it make sense. If I could hang a sign from the property that says "RUN AS FAR AS YOU CAN", I would. I had absolutely batshit crazy neighbors in this place pull a GUN on me. They are psychotic hoarders who staple their curtains shut and scream at neighbors. What does management do? Absolutely nothing. There's an angry old man that lives here and yells at everyone. There are two sons who verbally abuse their mother every day. There are two hoarder sisters that scream and hiss at every neighbor for no reason. There are two males that stare at you anytime you walk outside. All of the kind people moved out this year and I am on my way following them!!!!! This place is a fever dream!!! You get random maintenance guys showing up at your door without any reason... Complain about a leaky faucet? Expect someone to show up at your door in one month looking to replace an oven. This management couldn't get it together if it slapped them in the face. If you are looking for an okay apartment with termites, tons of break-ins, bugs, crazy neighbors who pull guns out, homeless people sleeping on your property, unresponsive management, rude maintenance, and a surprise every day - this place is for you! Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

I was a tenant at a R & E Management property on Camerford Ave. Shortly after moving in, I noticed a lot of issues on the property. R & E Management allowed other tenants on the property to violate numerous terms of the lease which were explicitly prohibited in the lease agreement. This included illegal parking by non-tenants, tenants parking unauthorized extra cars on the property, auto repair on the property with loud power tools, construction projects on the property with loud power tools, excessive drinking and loitering in the parking lot, non-residents having access to the property through parking gate remotes and unlocked sliding gate by the trash dumpster. This was communicated to R & E with ample photo and video proof of the violations, but the violations continued. Levi Goldman told me towing would be enforced. It never happened. Jason Katz told me he would have the property manager Kenya Rivera send the tenant a three-day notice to quit and that never happened. I requested tree trimming on many occasions because I was getting debris on my car in its assigned space which was damaging the paint surface. I was told by Kenya Rivera that she would request a quote and talk to the owner, but she refused to communicate with me any time I followed up about it after that. Jason Katz told me it was scheduled but it never happened. When I attempted to further communicate with them by email and phone, management would not return my emails or calls. I was in a 12-month lease with them and this company would not even return my calls to discuss early termination of my lease. This went on for approximately four months. During this time, the violations continued and the offending tenants felt empowered to harass me and physically assault me as a result of R & E Management's inaction against them. Only after I got a restraining order against the offending tenant after she physically assaulted me was I able to legally terminate my lease without penalty (Cal. Civ. Code § 1946.7). Regardless of this, I had ample documentation that R & E Management was in breach of contract. This is the worst property management company I have ever dealt with. Their office staff gave me a hard time even though I wasn't the one violating the lease, harassing me about why these things bothered me. Why do I even have to explain why it bothers me? I signed a legally-binding lease and agreed to certain conditions on the property that R & E was not fulfilling on their end. This company empowers bullying by its staff and tenants. This company is very shady and unprofessional. Many tenants have posted negative reviews about them across the internet. Check for yourself and avoid doing business with this company.
