I wish I could give this company negative stars. I regret ever hiring him to do my downstairs remodel. There were issues upon issues from his subs that could have been avoided if he managed them. He was rarely on-site and the work that was performed was terrible. Clearly my job was not lucrative enough for him as he was busy chasing other jobs through Lowe's at the time. I had an electrical floor outlet that they removed at my request prior to installing the new hardwoods. Instead of properly covering the hole, his flooring subs installed the floor on top of it without sealing it. Then, my newly installed hardwoods buckled after only 2 years due to a toilet leak as he chose to not utilize the plumbing company that he originally scheduled. David Vaughn did not use a plumber, but instead chose to have a member of his own "crew" place it. Upon discovery of the leak, he paid for a plumber of my choice to come and remove the toilet and he hired a new flooring company to assess the flooring issue. It was determined by the new flooring company that all of the hardwoods would need to be replaced as the leak had spread into adjoining areas. Upon learning of this information from his newly hired sub, David came to assess the situation and blamed it on a "moisture problem" in my crawl space. . He offered to correct only the bathroom flooring, but not the other affected areas. He stated " I am doing you a favor". When I explained that this offer was unacceptable, he walked away from the job and told me there was "nothing else he could do for me". He is a condescending con artist and treats women as if we are ignorant. I had a stain on an area of my hardwoods due to a mop that was left there too long. He tried to "explain" to me that this was an example of my moisture problem! I simply laughed when he tried to be so "smart". Additionally, his wife is his office manager and equally terrible to deal with. She is rude and impatient if you have questions that they deem as frustrating. It has been an unbelievable nightmare - not smart behavior in a small town like this. BUYER BEWARE

We just completed a major remodel using Vaughn Built as our contractor. Both David Vaughn and David Brown were polite , professional and easy to work with. They listened to us and had helpful suggestions. We received a prompt and accurate estimate up front. There were no unpleasant surprises. The workmen showed up when they were supposed to and were respectful of our home. The project was completed within the timeframe given to us. The end result is beautiful and shows excellent craftsmanship. Rebecca Vaughn was always available to answer questions and provide updates. She provides excellent customer service. We would highly recommend Vaughn Built for your project! David and Wendy Meacher

The first thing that stood out is that they showed up at exactly the time they said they would when providing me an estimate. It's amazing how much weight this simple act carries. I had the siding on the front of my house replaced and they were professional and timely throughout the process. An itemized estimate was provided for every section of my house at my request and they were very thorough and responsive throughout the process. I'll definitely hire VaugnhBuilt for future projects.

back in october of 2015 my family and i were one of many flood victims in shadowmoss plantation. i requested 3 contractors to give me quotes on putting our house back together. david vaughn was the most professional of the three as well as having a portfolio of scope of work, history of the company, what was to be expected...etc...etc. he installed new sheet rock, flooring, painted the inside of the entire house, installed all new doors, installed all new plumbing as well as new sinks and fixtures too. i was very impressed and pleased with the work david and his brother cris did as well as all the crew members that worked on our house. they all did outstanding work and our house is now our home once again. my family and i are grateful for what they did and all the work they performed over the last 6 months. i would recommend david vaughn and his crew to anyone who is looking for a general contractor that can do good quality work and can be trusted. our house looks great and really that's all we ever wanted....to once again enjoy are home in shadowmoss courtesy of david vaughn and his crew.
