Hero Home Inspection

Horrible experience with these guys. Justin came out to perform an inspection of a home I ended up purchasing. Within 2 months of living in it, I realized how many extremely dangerous or costly items he did not catch or mention whatsoever including multiple gas leaks including one right next to a sparking uninsulated electrical line running to the stove. Loads of gas leaks have been found since and hero's rather unprofessional response was "we would have noticed if there were leaks." Sure thing... like you noticed the other issues. This could have caused an explosion. Lights were arcing, again not mentioned. There was also a hole in the side of house where the the deck meets the house, again not mentioned. Water damage signs were found in the basement walls, no mention in their report. Hvac had issues and needed replacing... no mention in the report. Water pressure was extremely high and caused leaks within a week of moving in. When I confronted hero about this, they told me "well there was a picture of the water pressure meter included." Upon further inspection, there was, however there was no explanation as to what I was looking at or that this was cause for concern. Since then, I've had to go through their grainy photos attempting to decipher any kind of meaning from them. Had Justin and Hero Home Inspection done a thorough job, I would not have purchased this house which is now costing me far more than I care to mention and placing me through hardship. If you want to avoid the issues I've gone through, do not use these guys.
