Chimcare Portland

This is the third time I've requested Chimcare services. The first was for some serious fireplace and chimney repair last year, and the second was for an annual inspection and cleaning earlier this summer. The third most recent request was purely cosmetic: My 50 year old fireplace door + screen need a serious update! Michael and Oscar arrived promptly, then they quickly and efficiently installed the new fireplace door. They also gave me some excellent tips for keeping it clean. No matter which crew has been here, they are always skillful and friendly. Thanks!

Jim was punctual, knowledgable, and paid great attention to detail. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. Jim did a quality job on my gas fireplace, and left it looking outstanding, including cleaning all of the ceramic logs and the soot that had built up on the interior of the fireplace. It was quite a job, given that it hadn't been serviced in many years. I would definitely return to Chimcare again to serve my gas fireplace.

We had a safety check and chimney cleaning. The damper was rusted out so a new butterfly damper was installed and a directional chimney cap installed to eliminate smoking in the house when we have a fire on windy days. Walter was the lead technician, very professional and knowledgable! I highly recommend Chimcare.
