I had a pipe leak under the kitchen sink on New Years Eve for about 5 to ten minutes. Water remediation guys did the demolition and took away the old wet flooring and a few pieces of the baseboard. as well as dried everything out. Leaving the kitchen, half of the dining room, and the back hallway, without flooring. Now that the moisture is gone we need the areas where they removed the flooring to be repaired. This could mean by finding the same flooring and completing the installation again, it could mean removing the rest of the flooring in the house and then replacing the entire thing again. the main floor where the water damage occurred is an open floor concept with the kitchen, dining room, back hall, living room, and entry area all having one continuous floor. Also, a small section of the kitchen subfloor wasn't ever fastened down to the floor joists correctly, so that would need to be done before the floor is installed. then once the floor is taken care of I would need the baseboard pieces they removed replaced and painted. The baseboard shouldn't be too complicated it was 3/4" thick x 3.5" high white MDF with a slight round-over that would need to be painted to match the rest of the house
