Niwaki's primary focus is maintaining healthy plants that are vigorous and attractive through soil enrichment, proper pruning and pest management. Landscape plants are dynamic in many ways. Micro climates occur in every landscape creating different growing conditions and plant needs. Because of these micro climates our program is unique to every customer. Our (PHC) Plant Health Care Program is an annual program and based on at least ten visits that include hand pruning and fertilization. We monitor the plants and landscape continually to keep up with both seasonal and long term changes. Proper soil management and organic fertilization may seem minor, but it makes a big difference in the larger picture of landscape plant management. If we focus on just pruning or just on pest management, we overlook many of the cultural problems afflicting our plants.

Restore Crape Myrtle's | Jan 2014 | Our job was to remove a 15-year-old "Lady Banks" rose that had totally engulfed three Crape Myrtles. We will not and do not practice "Crape Murder," but if there was ever a time for it, it was on this project. We carefully removed the rose bush maintain as much integrity of the Crape's as possible. After cleaning out three Crepe Myrtles and carefully pruning the Lady Banks back into toleration we carted off over 1800 pounds of Crepe Myrtle and rosebush. Unbelievable! | $600 | Charlotte, NC | |
