About Michael Seidl Photography
I have been photographing architecture and interiors, primarily residential, for more than 25 years now. My clients tend to be architects, builders, developers, interior designers, realtors, and building products manufacturers. Of all the artistic media, I believe that architecture is the one that most directly touches our daily lives. My role is to appreciate and elucidate that architecture. I feel very fortunate to have found a trade about which I care passionately. The changes in photography since I began are mind boggling, but I believe that the creative possibilities are greater now than ever before. My favorite quotation about photography is by Cartier-Bresson and expresses pretty well my feelings about the art and craft of picture making: "to take photographs is to find the structure of the world - to revel in the pure pleasure of form, to disclose that in all this chaos there is order".
