"Providing Excellent Extermination Service From Our Family to Your Family" since 1947 HOW WE GOT STARTED. Irving and Shirley Brussell founded Brussell's Exterminating Service in 1947. They operated the business out of their home and provided pest control services to local businesses and residents. As the business grew, the Brussells' hired trained pest control technicians. In 1966, Solomon Mitchum was hired as one of the Brussell service technicians and quickly distinguished himself as a highly-trained professional with a commitment to customer satisfaction. He was promoted to Trainer and then to Regional Manager; and in 1977, he became President of Brussell Exterminating Services. The pioneering spirit and commitment to providing exceptional pest control service that inspired Brussell's original founders continue to this day, through the efforts of father and son team, Solomon and Stephen Mitchum. We are dedicated to providing our customers with professional quality extermination services throughout the region of Montgomery, Prince George's & Howard Counties, Maryland; Northern Virginia and Washington, D.C.
