More than 50 years ago J.W. Long opened J.W. Long Mechanical as a family owned and operated Heating and Air company. Today J.W. Long Jr. (Billy) still holds the same ideas of his father as the pilars of his business. Billy was born and raised in Summerville and has been a part of this business since it was opened all those years ago. As a family man and dedicated citizen of the lowcountry Billy has made it his mission to give back to the community and offer honest service and advice to all of his customers. Billy is an alumni of The Citadel where he played baseball and football. He still holds the citadel in high regard and donates his time and resources to many aspects of the college. He also invest a great deal of time to various organizations in Dorchester County and many fundraisers which offers him the opportunity to give back to the place that he has called home his whole life.
