Blackhawk engineering sent an intern with a camera phone to assess the integrity of our foundation. Their recommendation for $25,000+ worth of work was completely refuted by three separate, unaffiliated professionals, including a foundation specialists, a home inspector, and a licensed structural engineer. The recommended installations did not even correlate to the alleged faults (later deemed non-existent) and would have been an ineffective remedy. This kind of practice is shameful, and a blight on the industry.
