A local contractor, asking the usual questions, such as what is my next project in my home, and offering free estimates. Contractors saying that they are part of 'The Home Remodeling Center' have called various times. Usually, they just give their first name, saying that their company had called me a few months back. I will ask them what is the name of their company, and then they will say 'The Home Remodeling Center'. On this last call, I asked about a website for their company, explaining that I cannot find them on the internet. She said that I should check 'Home Advisor', and told that I can call them back. I did not find a listing for them on that site. There is a Home Remodeling Center in San Marcos CA, but that is 400 miles north of my Anaheim CA home. Zero stars, many violations with calling over and over, using private #'s of their new hires. If they were a legit company, they would be super busy (ask any building dept and they will tell you construction is booming), and not need to hire call centers personal. This company calls several times a week even though we are contractors and asked to be removed from the call list. Also filed numerous FTC reports on them. The call I got from this morning came in on a private call under the name of Christina Lopez at 626-872-9865. She didn't want to give out the company phone #, but she asked several times if I had a project. So I asked, "you don't have a company phone #?", and she started with 323 then said "you're wierd" and hung up. The Remodeling Center Inc or RCI for short is high call center just trying to get someone to your home and continue predatory sales.

Representatives from this company made an illegal telemarketing call to my cell phone. I have filed a report with the FCC and Federal trade Commission. They spoofed my 909 area code to make the call look local. Please do not patronize this business. If they have no problem using deceptive and illegal marketing practices, there's no telling what they'll do once they get into your home..
