Parkins mill bathroom

Feb 2015

This customer had a very small shower area, 2.5 ft by 3 ft. After looking at all the options we came to the conclusion that we can demo out half of his closet to gain the extra space for the shower area that is now 3ft. by 6ft. The customer chose to go with a large shower head comming from the ceiling with a hand held sprayer mounted on the wall. We installed a diverter so they can switch from shower head to sprayer or both at the same time. The job was high priced due to the high end pluming fixtures that came out around $4,000, the custom cabinet and shelving unit that we built onsite out of brazilian tiger hardwood and the higher end tile. The final result was a very happy couple.

Deck inlay and stain

Jun 2014

This job was for a previous customer who was very pleased with his kitchen remodel. When he called us up and asked us to take a look at his deck, we knew he wanted something different. After looking at some options and realized he wanted to go with the gamecock colors. We had the colors made in a solid stain. We brought up the idea of doing a inlay of the gamecocks symbol. We chose cypress because of the durability and strength of the wood. The deck surface and the balusters are garnet. The railing cap and side had to be replaced due to age,so they were replaced with new lumber and stained black to match the letters. This project came out better than we imagined, with another customer happy.

Easley Kitchen Remodel

Mar 2014

This kitchen was a 50's era and the customer was looking for a full upgrade. This was a total gut,the only aspect of this remodel that wasn't changed was the windows. We started with removing the cabinets and paneling so we could have a electrician upgrade the electrical. We framed in a knee wall for the bar top so they will have additional sitting area dividing the kitchen and dining room. The texturing on the ceiling was painted so many times that we were unable to scrape or sand it. So in this case to save money on reinsulating the attic space over the kitchen when we removed the drywall ,we simply glued and screwed new 3/8 sheetrock over the exisiting ceiling. The walls were paneling so we installed 5/8 drywall in kitchen. The cased opening from the kitchen to the living room was enlarged to give a more open feel. The cabinets were a custom built with two lazy susans and high end soft close drawers,a custom gloss spray job. The customer chose a silestone countertop that looks wonderful with the kitchen remodel. The flooring that was chosen was a custom order solid tiger bamboo floating floor with matching 1/4 round.
