a) Our current garage disposal under the kitchen sink stopped working. It was making loud grinder sounds shortly before that. There is an electrical socket under the sink that this unit plugs into but is also not working (tested by plugging in a night light into it); however no circuit breaker was tripped. b) The ceiling fan above the kitchen toilet is also not working. I think there is a electrical socket installed in the attic just for the fan. The fan had been replaced a few years with one that came with a "two-year" warranty. I hope to get one that lasts 5 years.
